The trade versus aid Song by Samriddhi The Prosperity Foundation provoked me again about the parasitic nature in Nepal. People have developed the psychology that the government should provide goods and services for their life and blame the government for not being able to provide their life as they expected. According to APA Dictionary of Psychology, psychological dependence is the “dependence on a psychoactive substance for the reinforcement it provides.” This psychological dependence has become an addiction in context to Nepal and made us parasites.
At an average, I merely find people who think they are responsible for their good and bad on their own. To stop to expect from the government to prosper ourselves is one of the main war that Nepali people have to fight with themselves. And to stop to be dependent on the foreign aid is one of the war Nepal has to fight. By nature, voluntary exchange of goods, services and love amongst, have been the basics of life. Identifying the strength and resources within and converting them to the goods and services that can be exchanged voluntarily / traded with others is the only way an individual can prosper his life. And the same is valid to the nation.
Nepal and Nepali have to break the addiction of dependence be responsible to ourselves, if we really want to prosper our life.
